The Morgan Library and Museum Book Project
The Morgan Book Project is a program, in which the Morgan Library in NYC collaborates with public school teachers in New York to develop a unit of study designed to engage students in writing, illustrating, and building a book. Students create handmade books using traditional professional grade materials. The Morgan Book Project Award is the program's culminating event. Since 2010 my students have received The Morgan Book Project Award. In 2012 and 2013 my students also received The Special Book Award.
